What is Botox Injection?
Botox injection is a treatment that involves injecting botulinum toxin, a protein derived from Clostridium botulinum bacteria, into the muscles. This toxin inhibits the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle movement.
By temporarily paralyzing targeted muscles, Botox injections can reduce the prominence of areas such as the jawline or calves, smooth out facial wrinkles caused by muscle activity, alleviate shoulder tension, and even suppress excessive sweating in areas like the underarms.

Treatment Features
Botox injections may involve slight pinching sensations, but you can return to your daily routine immediately after the procedure.

- Scalp
- Reduces sweat and oil production on the scalp. Typically, around 160 units are injected across the entire scalp. The process involves shallow, numerous injections and can be quite painful.

- Forehead
- To prevent wrinkles, about 16 units are injected into the frontalis muscle to inhibit movement. To avoid heavy eyelids, injections near the eyebrows are minimized. For a smoother appearance, up to 20 units can be injected superficially for subtle movement reduction and enhanced skin texture.

- Glabella (between the brows)
- Prevents furrowing of brows to avoid frown lines, with 12 to 20 units typically used.

- Nasoglabellar Lines (nose root)
- Addresses horizontal lines between the eyes with approximately 8 units.

- Reduces the width of the head by thinning the temporalis muscles, which are used for chewing. Around 40 units are recommended.
