My Favorite Ni-chome (Arty)

Arty is a club located in Ni-chome. I usually go there with friends who like to dance.

One of my closest friends, who often dances whether or not they’re drinking, is especially fun to hang out with. The vibe of the dancing reminds me of early '90s male idols. Pretty cool, right? Haha! And beside them, I’m bouncing around, hopping up and down.

On weekdays, there are fewer customers, so they’ll play the songs you request. I usually ask for Nicki Minaj. She was the soundtrack of my youth. About 10 years ago, when she ate chicken on a morning news program while showing her nipple, I became a huge fan, and now every morning, my alarm music is “Starships.”

Anyway, back to the main topic. On weekends, it gets crowded, especially with many foreign tourists. I interact with them using some basic English. Going to Arti makes me feel the diversity—nationality, gender, age, or sexuality don’t matter.
