The balance of these effects depends on various factors. One characteristic of hyaluronic acid preparations is the amount of cross-linking agents, and in terms of injection techniques, the depth of the injection layer.
The more cross-linking agents there are, the higher the viscosity, resulting in "harder" hyaluronic acid. On the other hand, if there is less cross-linking agent, the viscosity is lower, making it smoother. For treatments aimed at moisturizing, this type is preferred.
For moisturizing effects, injecting into a shallower layer provides better results than injecting deeper layers.

Hyaluronic acid has moisture-retaining properties.
By injecting Volite finely into the dermis and allowing it to blend, you can increase the moisture content in the dermis.

Hyaluronic Acid Injection Procedure

Consultation Before the Procedure

For skin texture improvement, the hyaluronic acid used is Volite.
The recommended amount is approximately 1cc for the forehead, 2cc for each cheek, and 2cc for the neck.

Detailed Injection Process

I inject finely using a 34-gauge needle.
The reason I use a 34-gauge needle instead of the provided needle is that it reduces pain and minimizes the risk of bruising.
Although the number of injections is high, using this fine needle means most patients can go about their day without discomfort immediately after the procedure.

Post-Procedure Care and Precautions

Sometimes, a lumpy feeling may occur after the procedure.
If that happens, you can gently press and smooth it out with your fingers.
For the neck, it’s easier to press and smooth it out by pinching it.

Hyaluronic Acid’s Effectiveness and Duration

Immediate Changes and Effects

Immediately after the procedure, the changes may not be very noticeable.
Around three days later, the moisturizing effect will start to appear.
The peak effect is typically around four months after the procedure.
If the effect is not sufficient after two months, you can opt for an additional injection, or you can wait a bit longer.

Duration and Contributing Factors

The effects typically last between six to nine months.
The peak effect occurs at around four months, after which the effects gradually diminish.

Maximizing the Effectiveness

There is no particular method to maximize the effect.
It largely depends on the skill of the practitioner.
