Shape Your Ideal Nose with Hyaluronic Acid

Nose reshaping can be done through surgery or injections.
Here, we’ll explore what can be achieved with hyaluronic acid injections.
There are limitations to the areas where hyaluronic acid can be injected, such as the nasal bridge, membranous septum, and the base of the nasolabial folds. As a result, the design options are also limited.
However, compared to the downtime required for surgery, hyaluronic acid injections are significantly easier and quicker, making them a good option to consider.

Hyaluronic Acid for the Nasal Bridge

To shape your ideal nose with hyaluronic acid,
Injecting in the area from the glabella down to the part where you can feel the bone is common.
If overdone, the result may resemble an “avatar” look, so it’s important to inject conservatively and choose products that don’t spread too much.
For a natural finish, 0.3 cc is usually sufficient.
If you want more pronounced height, choose a more compact product, such as Pinéa.
Up to 1 cc can be injected without creating an unnatural look.
Injection methods include using a needle to inject 3-4 points and blend the product, or advancing a cannula from the tip of the nose and injecting along a line.

Hyaluronic Acid for the Membranous Nasal Septum

To shape your ideal nose with hyaluronic acid,
Injecting into the membranous nasal septum can slightly lift and sharpen the tip of the nose, creating an "upturned" nose effect.
Since there are blood vessels in this area, it’s crucial to use a thicker cannula. I currently use a 21-gauge cannula.
A small entry point is made at the tip of the nose, and the cannula is advanced to the nasal septum, injecting about 0.3 cc.
The product can only be injected deeper to avoid damaging the soft and movable part of the tip of the nose.
Products like Volux and Pinéa are typically used.

There may be some swelling for 2-3 days after the injection.

Hyaluronic Acid for the Base of the Nasolabial Folds

To shape your ideal nose with hyaluronic acid,
Fill the indentation next to the nostrils.
This creates the effect of making the nostrils appear slightly smaller and the nasolabial folds less pronounced.
Volux, Pinéa, and Voluma are commonly used.

Injecting hyaluronic acid into these areas can help refine the center of the face.
If you’d like to change your facial impression without any downtime, please feel free to come for a consultation.
