My Favorite Nichome (Sick)

I think Sick is the bar I've visited the most. As I went there, I started meeting more people, and it became more fun to go.

Many of the bar staff are young, and everyone is really knowledgeable about the latest manga and music. The mama here has many connections in Kabukicho and is linked to people from not just gay bars, but various types of establishments. She brings in trends from Kabukicho, so there’s always something new and exciting—it’s always interesting. Plus, she always has cute nails, so even just going to see what her nails look like that day is fun.

The best memory I have from Sick is when I became the "Shot King." I went there with doctors and staff from my previous workplace, and we had tequila, a Coca-Bomb (tower), Jäger, and other drinks, and ended up having about 80 shots together. Sick has a whiteboard where they announce the "Shot King" of the month, and we were the Shot Kings for a whole month.

Sick also has events often. Not only do they celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries of the staff, but in summer, they hold yukata events and summer festival events, so there’s always something going on every month. It’s always full of creative ways to keep things fresh and fun.

There’s a wide variety of drinks, including the latest ones, and there are lots of interesting topics and the latest conversations to keep things lively.

If you want to visit a gay bar full of excitement and new things, definitely check out Sick!
