My Daily Life (Zauo)

My children's favorite restaurant is Zauo.
At Zauo, you can catch fish and have it cooked and served right away.
My daughter is cautious and tends to catch things like still shrimp and abalones. When she holds the shrimp she's caught and it suddenly starts moving, she gets flustered.
My son, on the other hand, is bold and challenges big sea bream and large lobsters. Although the fish he catches can jump and get him soaking wet, it's okay because we bring a change of clothes.

At the Shibuya and Shinjuku locations, you can only fish, but at the Meguro location, you can also catch fish by hand.
Trying to grab the slippery rainbow trout is difficult as it keeps slipping away, but eventually, the two of them teamed up and caught one together, which became a very nice memory. They say that if they work together, they can do anything.

The main way the fish is prepared is as sashimi.
The freshly caught sashimi, which was alive just a moment ago, has a firm texture and tastes incredibly delicious.
The parts that aren’t used for sashimi are made into miso soup.
Both the lobster and the sea bream are also used as ingredients in the miso soup.
Once we finish the miso soup, it’s time to leave.
I leave the restaurant holding both of my kids, who are shouting, “We still want to fish!!”
