My Daily Life (Santa Claus Duties)

It’s already late November.
At our house, preparations for Christmas are starting to take shape.
Since we live in a small apartment, we can’t set up a large Christmas tree.
Instead, we decorate with a tree tapestry.
The tree tapestry is a cloth with a Christmas tree design that we can hang on the wall.
We attach ornaments to the cloth using safety pins or double-sided tape.
We buy lots of ornaments and garlands from 100 yen shops and let the kids decorate however they like.
It’s so much fun to see each child’s unique style come through.

We also have interactions with Santa.
I’ve been using a site called PNP (Portable North Pole) for years.
By entering the child's name and photo on this site, you receive a personalized message for your child.
And it really comes from Santa’s village in Finland!

Once the Christmas spirit starts to fill the house, we write letters.
This is to ensure we convey exactly what gifts the kids want.
I, as the mother, take responsibility for delivering the letter to Santa and also make sure we prepare according to Santa’s instructions.
So far, our well-behaved children have received wonderful presents every year.

The excitement of preparing for Christmas is so much fun!
