Explanation of the Procedure Flow

We use block anesthesia, which numbs the entire forehead area with a local anesthetic beforehand.
Using a 34-gauge needle, I inject about 0.3cc of Xylocaine on each side above the eyebrows.
Technically, this is an orbito-frontal nerve block.
To minimize risks, I use a thicker cannula for the injection. I prefer using an 18-gauge cannula, which reduces the risk of puncturing blood vessels.

Downtime and How to Minimize It

Bruising and swelling are common.
Expect swelling for about two weeks.
For the first 2-3 days, apply cold, then switch to heat to help reduce the swelling.

Post-Treatment Aftercare and Important Points

Avoid wearing tight hats for two weeks.
Also, avoid sleeping on your stomach, as this can change the shape. Try sleeping on your back or side instead.
During downtime, it’s recommended not to focus too much on the changes and avoid constantly checking in the mirror.
